Special Events


 

In addition to our classes for each age group we also offer a variety of special events. Everything from summer camps to movie nights and martial arts workshops. Special events are a great way to keep your child excited about the martial arts and all the benefits that come from practice but also build community and help the kids make lifelong friends.

Here are just some of our offerings.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT!

How does an affordable, child-free evening sound? MKG frequently hosts a Parents' Night Out. Drop off the kids for a night of martial arts, games, and movies. Not only are we cheaper than a babysitter, it's an easy way for you to make the time to do something you enjoy. Our offer is extended to non-members too, so tell your friends! Check the website, school and Youth Program Facebook page for the next event.

Ages 6 and up are welcome and the cost is $20.00 per child!

　
SCHOOL BREAK AND SUMMER CAMPS

Throughout the year MKG hosts a variety of day and week camps for our students. These camps are a great way to fill those long vacation days that are normally filled with video games and television, and instead get them working in groups, learning cool new skills. Our camps have a variety of themes that keep all of the activities that we do fresh and fun for students, as well as giving them new challenges.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Looking for something fun, high energy and different for your child's next birthday? Why not try a martial arts party!

Most parties last around 2 hours. We'll provide one or two instructors, basic tables, help you setup and decorate. Here's how it works.
  • First 30 minutes: Set up with parents and instructors. Parents responsible for refreshments and any decorations.
  • 1 hour: Games/activities. Ex: obstacle course, ninja dodge ball, jump kicks.
  • Last 30 minutes: Serve refreshments, open presents at the black mats.
If you have any special requests we would love to consult with you and put together a great event.

Base Price: $190 + Tax for 2 hours
Ages: For Children 4 and Up
Terms: includes 15 children. May add up to 5 more at $10/child. 20 Child maximum. 　

FRIDAY SEMINARS

Held throughout the year, these seminars are a chance for students to become exposed to a variety of topics not covered in the regular curriculum. Ranging from champion training and weaponry, to unique styles like French Savate. These seminars are a great way to learn new skills, and become exposed to how much the martial arts has to offer.
